Thank god that Stephen A is back

Gordon Hayward averaging 17 a game this month he’s not a problem anymore.

+Jackie Bradley Jr. He was in touch with Danny Ainge about coming back in the offseason, but because their guard position was already set, he didn’t offer a contract. He’s also shown nothing but love for Boston and their fans since leaving. IT would probably go back to Boston if given the opportunity. Might want a NTC though.

They always want to blame someone but I think the Celtics got a good team. I think they could use a real center. Al Horford is not a true center. But to claim a team is broken when they are doing good makes me think media is trying to cause problems.

    • RasenKamehameha

+CantStop Truth They have Robert Williams on the roster, he’d be the perfect center for them, but they refuse to give him minutes for some reason. Probably because he’s a rookie. Either way, this team is doing good, 37-21 isn’t a bad record, the problem is people expected them to be better than they are. I myself expected 60 wins which is practically impossible now and there are some glaring issues on this team. Giving 100% all game every game. Morris’ comments that they hadn’t had fun all season and that they were playing like individuals, not teammates have me very concerned about this team moving forward.

The coaches and management can hopefully turn things around and get the players excited again.

    • Vince Kevin they were one game away from the finals without him g.. they got too many players who need the ball to be effective

    • Marc Cohen

Its kyrie hate mixed with Celtics hate, which creates a media hate shitstorm

Go Screw Uncle Drew, this coming from a 48 year Celtics Fan . . . Go play with 35 year old Lebron or the disfunctional Knicks if you want, Good Luck . . .

This man with the clean tan lol

  10. Jesse Cab

It’s the young players. They don’t like the idea of one guy being the leader of the team. They play harder and want more of the credit when they win without Kyrie. The east is going to be all over the place this year in the playoffs. A lot of 7 game series in every round.

    • Jesse Cab

soy cubano You’re right about that! They all probably think it was more Lebron than Kyrie that brought that championship to Cleveland.

    • Jesse Cab

TopFlightSecurity415 Exactly!! It’s the young players nowadays, they don’t like being talked to aggressively.

    • Colorgame Shawdy

+MalikEmmanuel I agree I mean yeah he has the ring in Cleveland but they like shiiiiiddd do it over here then you have our attention

Last season Celtics, with Kyrie #1 seed. Without Kyrie, Lose the #1 seed. All of The Celtics numbers DROPPED last year after Kyrie got injured. The only thing that improved, was DEFENSE. So, Kyrie is not the Problem. The Problem is that they have to many of the same type of players/Wings, and Gordon Hayward is being Showcased by the Celtics, so, they’ve been starting him often. This team, can only win a championship, if these young bucks decide to give the reigns of the team over to Kyrie, and they play within the system that Brad uses when Kyrie is on the floor. Playoff series and Regular season matches are DIFFERENT. In the playoffs the Celtics will need 2 players too drop 30+ when needed, in an efficient manner. That’s how championships are won. With Great players around a Great team. Championships are not won by 7-8 good players scoring 10+ a game . Superstars win championships. The Celtics need to keep working on this system with Kyrie in the Playoffs. They’ve been improving how they run it, and Kyrie will unleash his Offensive game in the playoffs so they will be BETTER . What’s holding the Celtics back mainly, is that players don’t know their roles. When Kyrie not on the floor, more people can do more of what they wanna do. BUT, if y’all recall, in the last 2 postseasons, Jaylen Brown, and Terry rozier, didn’t step it up to all star level and they did Horrible Vs the Cavs, which is what cost them the series. If they have someone like Kyrie, that could pick up the slack, and drop an efficient 30+ in any given night, they’d have a better chance to get past these other team In the playoffs, and reach the finals.

5:50 Molly, chill out. Yes they went to the conference finals without Kyrie, but they would’ve gone to the NBA finals with him

    • User . Meme

+Ethan Rhine yea that bb is stupid it woudnt take 7 games7if kyrie was there

    • bob saget

+User . Meme No, because that’s not based on any measurable statistic. It’s just you saying that. Kyrie would have gotten his points, but Bledsoe might have too..So it wouldn’t have made a difference. Terry played up to par on offense AND shut Bledsoe down on defense. Kyrie is better than Rozier, but Roziers impact was tough to replicate that series. They could have won it, but they very easily could have lost it. Not to mention if Kyrie ended up having a bad game.

    • Paper Towel Boy

bob saget 1. Betting that Kyrie has a bad game is a huge stretch seeing as he’s usually very consistent during the playoffs, secondly to say that Rozier was “on par” with Kyrie offensively that series is a lie, Rozier averaged 17.6 points on 42% FG and a 53% eFG so in short he really wasn’t even close to Reg Season Kyrie let alone playoff Kyrie which averages for the last 2 playoffs he performed in seeing as he was obviously dealing with a weak body the first time, 25.5 points on 47.5% FG 44% 3P and 54%eFG, while defensively you have a point, the team’s road play would not be as horrendous as it was and the series most like;y would’ve ended in 5-6 games instead of 7, you really see the disparity in the ECF where in game 7 they shot 18% from 3 which is nothing short of unacceptable, Rozier scored 4 points and if you think Kyrie would’ve scored 4 points in a playoff game while going 2-14 and 0-10 from 3 you must not be thinking objectively because Kyrie is probably the least likely person in the EC to do that in a game 7

Also if you wanna talk statistics Boston’s points per 100 possessions goes up by 8.9 points when Kyrie is on the floor this season, and the Celtics have a net rating of +34.7 in the clutch with Kyrie on the floor this season
